The Book of Job: ”Yet Will I Trust in Him”

Unshaken Saints

CHAPTER

God, You're Dredging Up My Past

In chapter 14, he goes on verse one, man that is born of a woman is a few days full of trouble. He compares human life to the life of a tree. And then he says that if you cut a tree down to the stump, at least there's still a chance of re growing. Is there any hope for me? Cause i'm down to stump level. Maybe we can't send forth new shoots the way a tree can. Maybe once we've been cut down, that's all there is. If life ends with death, and death brings on what is now like, welcome oblivion, then again, what was the point of life to begin with?
