Dark Forest - Is There a Link Between Dark Forest Theory and the Dark Forest Game?

A lot of the mechanisms initially envisioned in both, like dark forest theory and the dark forest book, didn't end up playing out exactly as how things play out in the game. There's all sorts of different externalities a and i would say that we have this backbone that is very much inspired by this corps mechanic. But from there, everything from the different resource types to spaceshipst even the round structure itself, to dark forest lobbies, to all the governments and team experiments. You know, this kind of like explosion of creativity, i think, has taken us probably out of the realm of necessarily like a single specific for an anniversary game.
