The Importance of Demand Capacity
Fitness is about burning calories or increasing muscle mass. We measure our internal status with HRV, you know, resting HRV with resting heart rate. Strength training is going to move around my internal status temporarily potentially in what we kind of perceive as a negative direction and not a suppression of HRV. But over time, it properly is going to raise our heart rate variability and raise our capacity at a higher level.
