Women Can't Be Priests
Su: The idea that jesus did it only because of the cultural situation at his time is implausible. Jesus had no problem dismissing uniquely a jewish or other institutions that he disagreed with. And furthermore, there were priestesses all over the roman world, like a, you know, the oracle at delphi, or the vestal virgins in rome. They were female. So the church feels bound by jesus choice.
