Is China a Champion of Globalization?
China's going on a charm offensive starting with international finance people. They're not really becoming pro globalist, but they're talking up a game about pro globalism. China was being very economic nationalist in the 2010s and pretending to be this champion of free trade because that allowed it to score points against the idiotic Trump administration. And what they're doing is they're saying, Hey, come invest in China. You can make some money here as long as you yell about how like decoupling is so bad in the United States industrial policy is so bad.
