The Team Approach to Oral Antibiotic Therapy
We look into prior authorizations for the medications very early on in the course, even before we're sure that the patient is going to be leaving on oral antibiotics. We try to get everybody seen within two weeks of discharge. And again, this is just where the team approach is really helpful in terms of coordinating the follow up.
