I Think It's Hard to Wage War Without Actually Making Your Hands Dirty

I think this kind of discipline that you describe, and I think what is involved is certain form of discipline. And it seems to me also that it's hard to wage war without actually making your hands dirty. So in some sense I think that this tradition in which those who have waged the war, return back from war with joy on the one hand over the victory at the same time, over the profound sadness of what has actually occurred. We would do really well if we nurture these two feelings together rather than always wanting to kind of clean our soul so have all either one emotion or the other emotion.
