Date Palm Trees in the Desert Ocoases
A date palm was the symbol of the sammerian goddess inana, the goddess of fertility. In ancient greek and rome, they say that apollo and his sister artemis were born under a date palm. Michael perganan is professor of biology at new york university and an expert in dat genetics. And he and nowal both pointed out that date trees grow particularly well in oases in the desert. They're not just delicious and full of calories you need from all that sugar, but also really nutritious.
