Is There a Learning Process in Programming?
I think that people underestimate how learnable of a skill algorithmic thinking is. There's this idea that writing clean code is something that just comes with practice. Some people, when they're given a difficult algorithmic problem, are able to just have blind insights and give you the answer. And I think that even when it looks like someone is doing that, they're really kind of re-manning their way to some immediate stroke of genius.
