When writing the book, i became forwards cross realizing that in some ways it was actually better if a character wanted something they could attain. So like somebody's picking up a file and putting down a file, referencing the fact that they just really wish this other person could get the heck out of the office. Or someone has a contract that needs to be signed, representing the deal that they're going for. Ti is all feels like extremely basic level blocking stuff when i'm saying it out loud.
