When writing the book, i became forwards cross realizing that in some ways it was actually better if a character wanted something they could attain. So like somebody's picking up a file and putting down a file, referencing the fact that they just really wish this other person could get the heck out of the office. Or someone has a contract that needs to be signed, representing the deal that they're going for. Ti is all feels like extremely basic level blocking stuff when i'm saying it out loud. But it's stuff that i, at least, had just failed to realize was part of the way, say, screen writers compose scenes. Cause you can't narrate the internal action, so you
