The Sea Spray Aerosol Observatory

Plymouth Marine Laboratory has turned a helicopter shelter into an atmospheric observatory. They're interested in tiny particles called sea spray aerosols, which are formed when waves break on the ocean and bubbles burst. And they want to find out what life is living inside them. With me is Dr Francis Hopkins from the Plymouth Marine Laboratory.
