The Ball of Mud - Microservice or Distributed Monolith?
Darko: Why do people still persist in wanting to create balls of mud? I don't think that ball of mud is necessarily, I want to scare your opinion, Darko. But this unit of monolith is when you need to deploy an arrange release of the whole system. So yes, getting there is absolutely possible. If it's properly much modularized, it's not necessarily a bad thing. And those physical boundaries and in more abstract terms, just constraints can prevent that.
