Sex Differences in Autism

The sex ratio in autism seems to have changed a bit over the decades. The cognitive profile of autistic people might be an extreme of what you see in typical males on average. It's really important to underline those two words 'on average' because these sort of characterizations don't apply to all males or all females. And so we had the chance to, to look at whether autistic people have elevated levels of prenatal androgens like testosterone, or estrogen.
