What Is the Difference Between Type One and Type Two Respirited Failure?

type two respirited failure is characterized by a failure of ventilation. This is when insufficient oxygen reaches the alvioli, whilst carbon dioxide also accumulates due to a lack of removal through ventilation. Now this hyper capnia results in a different clinical presentation to that type one respiritor failure. These patients tend to present with warm peripheries, obtunded conscious levels. Once that c o two really starts to rise, all the way through to a patient who is in a coma. And such cases, like where your patient has a traumatic brain injury, where we are trying to insure optimen cerebral profusion pressure control? We need to try and ascertain hethis patient is in type one
