CHAPTER

The Rise of the Cell and BT Cells

The idea on this paper that I think is kind of crazy and I really don't think has been suggested before, is that upon synaptic TAN-T cell synapse with APCs, the APCs undergo a expulsion of like the main vesicles that contain telomeres. And these T cells not only pick up these vesicles, but incorporate these telomeres into their own chromosomes. That's why I call the rise of the cell and BT cells, because basically the T cells are increasing their longevity at the expense of the telomeres of the APCs. So maybe more than a zombie, we like a vampire T cell.
