Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company and Intel Ready for a Continued Drought in the Southwest
Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company or TSMC is I would say the leaders among global chip making peers in water conservation. Taiwan where a majority of semiconductors are made doesn't really have a lot of water either so this is an industry wide issue for semiconductors and they know it. Taiwanese companies also report as having a higher average water recycling rate at 74% versus global peers that average around 33%. So this means that they can weather the problems in Arizona.
