Spotify's Origins: A History of Music Piracy

Spotify's origins are almost just a kind of right place, right time thing. It sounds as if Sweden itself was quite a rich ground for exploring some of this technology around essentially pirated music. But do you think that it's fair to say that Spotify basically ended music piracy as a proper concern? I mean, I think some people have attributed this to Spotify specifically or to streaming more broadly.
