When you turn 18, we sort of turn on a switch and say, okay, now you have to do this other thing about which you might not have given very much thought before. And in a way, that's kind of strange. I mean, think about something like criminal liability, right? Now the age at which someone is considered to be an adult from the point of view of criminal liability or civil, civil liability is varies greatly. But there's no question that from the age of about 16, you know, you're far more likely to be treated as an adult than you are as a child.
