Prayer and Self Reflection

Prayer is less about asking for things that's almost non existent and more about how do I relate with God in a way that leads me to being more of a kind of person I want to be in the world. And that requires self reflection, which I think is part of prayer. We ask for things that are maybe not to our benefit because it allows us to keep living maybe our fault self,. something that we're not authentic about.
