Is There a Fire Wall Between Development and the Business Aspects?

In many projects, that what you describe is not the case, and therefore a lot of problems result. What i really like is when the technical lead or the softer architect actually got involved in those business aspects and was at least involved in the discussions about that. And it's just easier to deal with an the short time to market that we always have,. When we just know what the constraints are, it's easier toDeal with them.
