The Place of Work Matters

i often think about that novel ih've never written, and what always comes up in my mind is the different geographies of the different ofices i've worked in. So the offices fantastically psychically powerful. And susie olback, the psychotherapist and social commentator, i interviewed her for the book, and she said, work is a very emotional place. Some of us go, oh, my god, i'm so glad not to be working out of an office. But that's not to underestimate that the place of work, whether it's literal or liminal, it that still matters.
