The Issue of Land Possession in the Bible
Yon: There is something more basic in the bible than possession of land, its care of land. And so when humans are out of sink with god, you might say, not living in obedient relationship with god, well, they get kicked off the land. When israel is obedient, it is booted out of the land and sent into exile. This isa pattern in the bible, and i think at the root of it is the notion that we,. we are part of an intricate web of physical relations which are at the same time, moral relations. Is necessarily, it necessarily has moral and immoral dimensions....
