Mark's Prologue to the Gospel of Jesus Christ

Mark's prologue sets the scene for the rest of the book, as it is written in Isaiah the prophet. The quotation that follows is actually an amalgamation of verses from Malachi 3 verse 1, Exodus 23 verse 20, and Isaiah 40 verse 3. Are we supposed to understand this as the gospel concerning Jesus Christ, or the gospel belonging to Jesus Christ? Well likely it can be read as both, and it seems to me that Mark is probably playing with the ambiguity here.
