God's Obsession With Man
In the Bible, god reaches out to a man he calls abraham. He makes him an offer he can't refuse: God promises to look after all of abraham's descendants going down through history in exchange for abraham agreeing that his descendants will maintain this relationship with god and god alone. The very fact that we are not mindlessly obedient is what makes these creatures so interesting to god. But it's early, you know. We're only in genesis. Gods still learning, and so is man.
