The S.B. 500 and the VIX in May

From mid-April through mid-May, we saw the VIX consistently blow 20. During this period, S.B. says the action of the volatility index was bullish for stocks. In other words, right now the volatility in this is telling us we actually don't have much to worry about. But, that's only short term and it doesn't mean the rest of the year will be smooth.
