Housing economist Roger Bootle says the market is as strong as it is. He predicts a peak to trough fall of more than 10%, somewhere between 10 and 12%. That would be the biggest correction we've seen for a long time, he says. The British obsession with house prices means no extra housing services are being provided in relation to people who want them.
