How to Shoot a Movie on a Rooftop
The film was shot on a rooftop in Vegas at Caesar's Palace. The script described a transition from when they're up on the rooftop drinking and they make a toast that basically says to a night we'll never forget. "It didn't work for one frame, literally," said director Todd Phillips.
