What's the Future of Design?

Alan Higgins is a senior engineer at UCD's Center for Innovation Technology and Organization. He says there are no one thing that works without the social context, technical and social infrastructure to use it. In terms of what excites him personally, he cites electric cars as an area where technology can be used in new ways.
