The Growth Mindset

There has to be a certain belief system in the ability to reach the end goal. But we almost have this internal psyche where we hold ourselves back and we don't necessarily have that belief. So I'd say two things. One is frame the challenge, frame what you're moving towards is something more than just the goal. That keeps you, it kind of keeps a dot on the horizon that pulls you towards. The second thing around persistence specifically is this ability to reward the efforts, not just the reward, not just rewarded the outcome. And when you've got dopamine in your system because you have an anticipation of something that's going to happen, it keeps you on the front foot.
