The Value of a Plot

A plot for a novel is a sequence of events usually set out in order and with specificity. Henry James: The house of fiction has in short not one window but a million. Using certain elements in our first chapter is usually a strong way to begin a novel. If we can put check marks next to these items or most of them are chapter our first chapter may be first rate.
