Jake Tapper: Congress has been trying desperately to get their arms around this issue. He says it's no coincidence that the same companies we are seeing rise to the very top of the power structure of AI are the ones that collected data on us all this time in an unregulated environment through search and social media. "I think the thing I'm going to be looking at in the future, which is there's this illusion that AI is this great leveling force," he says.
