A Hip Replacement or a Native Hip?

Almost all of these, certainly every patient I've seen who has got a hip dislocation has had a hip replacement. So it has not been a native hip in the ones that I've seen. The most obvious thing these patients will have is pain and the pain for these injuries tends to be the big giveaway. Now sometimes you can also get a bit of a feel for whether this is one of those neck of femur fracture mimics.
