How to Use the Piano in Interview Sound Bites

In a way, it's a Jeep Box musical with a rich subtext. I requested that all of the songs that I wanted to work with, we had access to stems. It never was like bring the music down so we can clear out for David. There's time so it's a little hard to hear what he's saying. The piano is kind of my main instrument through the film. And when I think of life on Mars, a lot of what David is talking about during the time I'm underscoring the song or what I think are the themes of the song life on Mars.
