Do you think the party could survive a loss of face depending on a foreign vaccine? Evidently not. Older Chinese people simply won't get vaccinated because of the history of low quality vaccines in China, Jeremiah and David say. Some of it is that the most vulnerable populations are not necessarily in the cities or smaller villages or towns. And so they're very susceptible to rumors about vaccines as well.
