The Anabicists and Cyrus and the Battle of Kunoxa
The battle took place in central to northern Iraq along the Freides River kind of near Babylon. It's pretty obvious to both sides that they're going to fight a massive battle shortly. And generally it was clear that Cyrus was in haste throughout the whole journey and was making no delays except where he halted to procure provisions or for some other necessary purpose.
