The Lock in in Groundhog Day

There's an entire sequence that we know he's stuck in the same day and he doesn't. And there's like 15 minutes after what we define the lock in of Groundhog Day when he wakes up on the same day. So it so so in this movie it does that. The the audience I believe and I think it's pretty obvious the the lock in is when he takes when Max steals the stone from the office. That is 45 minutes into the movie. We had mutually kind of discussed that like the lock in was when we knew that there was a problem that because we feel the stakes we feel the urgency we know what the goal is even if the character doesn't yet.
