The Importance of Retraction Notices in Journals
A lot of journals have done all of those and it doesn't seem to have made a particularly substantial difference. And I think the reason for that is because if it's in someone's head, you Google it. So this process of just learning directly from other people can kind of be happening with paper citations. It's like nobody was going and actually checking the original source.
