There is a general belief in the like quote unquote evidence based fitness community that longer rest intervals are superior for both hyperch fee and strength. So I could very well see the the answer being different for an untrained lifter versus, you know, someone who's already a pretty high level lifter. There aren't that many well controlled studies that have looked at either of these two questions. And all of the ones that do exist measured both high perch fees and strength intended to have similar results.
