The Ptolemaic First Ferros
We have no real descriptions of the first Ferros. All we can do is assume that the later Ferros stayed the same all the time through history. But probably the lower part of the Ferros was the original tower. I like to think that more is a beacon than a lighthouse. And there was actually a real door elsewhere, which was used in more humid dimensions. This monumental gateway was probably 13 meters high. We know the dimensions of this model gateway because there are remains of the granite slabs, which we used to make the gateway.I rather think it was a bit perhaps like the full stores in the pyramids or the tombs. It was essentially a decorative element.
