Part of the reason that we kept the program distinct was that there's the issue of translation. You know, when have you study an ancient text or something from a very different language? It requires developing a sense of nuance and sensitivity with a text. Although I do get that there is a strong appeal and good reasons for a bloody minded approach to the text.
