How to Succeed in Life - A Book Review

I think it's an exciting book because he's looking at it from the context of history. He's looking at things that have impacted a different racial groups. And then he makes the case that maybe it's not as straightforward that these factors are pushing against individuals and therefore causing them to struggle. It's something innately within their capabilities that they can change and improve upon, that can make the difference in their lives. The reality is always so much more interesting than the little ideological, one sentence view. A soul certainly gets into those realities, some of which are very uncomfortable.
