The Problem With Shrimp Traceability
There's a big effort to get shrimp farmers to stop using the drugs and antibiotics. The state where we live, Louisiana, passed a new law a few years ago in the effort to give consumers more information about where our shrimp's coming from. So restaurants now have to put it on their menu if they're serving imported shrimp.
