The Byzantine Mission to Constantinople

The Venetians decided to divert the mission and restore Prince Alexius Anglos. The Pope had forbidden attacking fellow Christians, so this was a controversial move. Many dissenters abandoned the mission - but it strengthened those who stayed. In April everyone agreed to leave Zara and sail on to their next stop in Kofu.
