How the Old Testament Texts Can Be Relevant for the Church Today

Walter Mosley: I was preaching in an Episcopal church on 9-11 this year. In Jeremiah, the hot wind from the east was either a Syria or Babylon. Mosley says he invited the congregation to imagine some connections that they would never have imagined had it not been through the text. "You have to reinvigorate the tradition to engage what's happening here and now," Mosley says.
