I found myself constantly taking damage, but also constantly healing if that makes sense. I think this game is more generous than previous Mega Man's with like heels and with energy drops. The Mega Man one is very unforgiving, but most of the other ones, it doesn't matter too much. Plus when you have no health, if you have more lives left, you just start over with full health. So if you get to the boss by the skinny or teeth, you just burn your life and you pop right back.
