The End of Rate Hikes Means That Stocks Outperform

Andrew Sheets: We expect the Federal Reserve to make its last rate hike in the first quarter of next year. He says on average, both stocks and bonds do well once the Fed stops raising rates. But there's an important catch - stock performance is weaker when short-term yields are higher than long-term yields. In these instances, global equity markets did much worse over the following 12 months.
