The Normalization of Adoption

Growing up like that was definitely a normalizer for adoption. When I moved out to California, even though I was completely surrounded by Asian people, I didn't meet one adopted Asian person. So it was kind of crazy to me because growing up, you know, I was around that. And so I think it's like super awesome that they organize so many things and like kept their community strong. Definitely. It also sounds like it's like they'renormalizing adoption too. Like they make it so that adoption doesn't have to be this like sad emotional journey. Sometimes it's just a matter of fact.
