Cornelia was an elite and aristocratic roman woman, known to be very educated. We don't know exactly when she was born, sometime between one nine five and one 90 b c so we don't know too much about her young life. She really comes to prominence because of people she's related to and the family that she marries into and her offspring. Her husband tiber sempronius gracchus had a 12-year gap between his consulships before he married Cornelia. But there are plenty of alite roman republican women that we don'tknow about.
