Genome sequencing has changed our understanding of human biology and indeed, human disease. Armed with the geno, we are much better able to diagnose so co monogenic diseases. There's a whole pull of so called undiagnose diseases which are phino typically very complex but there is no obvious underlying molecular diagnosis. The approach of gena wide ation studies have absolutely blossomed enabling us to understand which variation contributes towards finatipcally complex diseases such as cardivascula disease or cancer.
