How to Approach Your Teaching Like a Master Chef
The first 10 minutes or so would be an engaging anticipatory set to peak students' interest. This is a step we often skip over when we're pressed for time. For ideas on a good anticipatory set, I'm linking in the post to a post I wrote about anticipatory sets. And this is an interview I did with two math teachers, but the way they look at introducing a lesson is just incredible. Some of the ideas that they come up with are fantastic.
